InuYasha has an unfortunate encounter with Tokajin, a sage who is responsible for nourishing Ninmenka with human souls, being sucked into his bottle gourd. Meanwhile, Kagome, Miroku, and Shippo are brought to the miniature village of Togenkyo, where they learn that the villagers are kept there to become sages.
