Although he is kindly introduced to Quon Kisaragi and Makoto Isshiki, Ayato is locked up because he is considered a threat. Quon, noticing a threatening timbre, foresees a Dolem, in which the organization does all it can to exterminate it. Failing to do so, the Dolem infiltrate the carrier. Ayato, in a panic, summons the RahXephon, urging him to obliterate the Dolem.
